Kurşunlu Waterfalls
Our Antalya adventures took a refreshing turn on Day 6 with a visit to the captivating Kurşunlu Waterfalls. Nestled amidst a lush pine forest, this natural wonder offered a welcome escape from the city’s buzz.

But Kurşunlu Waterfalls boast more than just beauty. Here are some interesting tidbits that add to the allure:
- A Cascade of Serenity: Kurşunlu isn’t just one waterfall, but a series of cascading falls that tumble down a moss-covered rock wall, creating a series of 7 crystal-clear pools.
- A Nature Park Paradise: Established in 1991, the area surrounding the waterfalls is a designated nature park. Covering over 586 hectares, it’s a haven for nature lovers, offering picnic areas, walking trails, and a chance to spot local wildlife.
- A Historical Hint: Though the exact date of its discovery is unknown, the surrounding area has a rich history. The nearby ruins of Perge, an ancient city dating back to the Bronze Age, hint at the region’s long-standing human presence.

We spent the day exploring the park’s trails, marveling at the cascading waters, and soaking in the cool mountain air. Stay tuned for more about our experience at this hidden gem, including some breathtaking photos of the falls!
